Shanee started her career in a high acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). For over 10 years as a NICU nurse, Shanee specialized in newborns with gastrointestinal complications. Nutritional concerns with these babies led her down the path of learning more about the critical role breastmilk plays in overall health and wellness. She pursued her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification in 2015 and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification in 2017.  Shanee then changed careers and devotes her time to providing outpatient lactation support to families. It is very important to Shanee that mom, dad and baby receive the best support, guidance, and encouragement during their own unique breastfeeding journey.
